I found out that I got some visitors from Newstoday, so I headed over there to see why I was linked. I found out that there was a person who wanted feedback on her site, and as an answer on her post Douglas Seyller (k0na_an0k on Newstoday) from Boxofsharpies posted the following text:

see how their shadows and gradients are nice and smooth, they flow very well. i know what you’re trying to do with yours but it’s not quite there yet, one more step to refine it and the page will be much softer.

Not a big thing, but still it is very nice to hear that my site is used as an example of good design =)
